went for the prudential smart & savvy financially talk last evening, and here's my nametag! =)

the talk is from 7-9pm. 7-8pm for prudential's COE talk and it is INSPIRING! , 8-8.45pm presentation by an image consultant where she randomly chose 3 audience and change their outfits and their makeups. 8.45-9pm is where we had to filled up feedback forms and a small recruitment talk to join prudential.

i didn't regret going for this talk because initially i thought it will be some talk to persuade us to buy prudential's insurances, but nothing like this happen, so it's all good =)

AND, i FINALLY bought the MAC brush cleanser! i have very sensitive skin so it's a must for me to clean my brushes after every application. however, it's so troublesome to use the daiso brush cleaner bcos it usually took 1 day for those big foundation burshes to dry. so after like 1 month of consideration, i finally bought this!

the stupid sales assistant at vivo told me it's $22 but in fact, it's only $18! it's like getting a $4 discount =D and, it's cheaper compared to other brush cleaners like sephora, inuovi and clinique =)

went shiseido sale this morning at orchard building n came out 91 bucks poorer =) there're different types of brands ranging from the higher-end one like shiseido & ettusais to the cheaper brands like za. anyway, here's my haul:

bought this medicated ance trial pack for $12. my sis told me that she gave me the soap long ago, n i was like WAT?!?! WE GOT THIS AT HOME? hmm.. it must be in some corner in my room.

left: the body creator aromatic energizing spray for $18. it's a nicely fragranced spray that is supposed to tone and firm your body, the auntie selling this told me that it's very good for lazy people to use cause you don't even have to massage it.

right: shiseido compact powder for $20 for my sis cause she say she need a powder. the design of this compact is great as it is very hygenic n i checked makeupalley.com b4 i went for the sale and it has a lot of positive reviews so i think she will like it. =)

3 majolica majorca eyeliner in silver, gold and bronze. N GUESS WAT? it's retailing for $22.90 and i got these 3 for $15! SWEET!

i got 3 exactly the same majolica majorca eyeshadow quad that retails for $25.90 and i got it at $15 for 3! 1 for me, 1 for FIFI, and the last 1 for my mum?

and the colours are WONDERFUL! I SO LOVE THIS ITEM! SO CHEAP & SO WORTH IT!

bought this ZA blue mascara for $5

N HERE'S THE BEST DEAL! (beside the majolica quad) i got these 2 items for $3 each! all ZA items that expire in less than 1 year are selling for $3!

so i got these ZA transpowder that expire in jun 2010. it is a cream-based product for your cheeks and eyes that will melt into your skin when u apply and become a powder.

this is the repair essence for dry or rough skin, and it retails at $22.50. it expire in oct 2010, and with 3 gals in my house, i'm very confident that this will be used finish b4 it expired! =D

went to dinner at TCC with my dear sis as she joined me at suntec where we planned to go for the watson member preview sale. she had this very very DELICIOUS mushroom sandwich with melted cheese, and i have the lasagne.

n i LOVE my sis because she settle the bill! =D


the watson fair was so TERRIBLE! limited variety of items with little discounts! my sis was looking for ZA skincare products and they are only selling at 20% off when we can get 40% off at john little. other items are either normal priced or like 10% discount? super not worth the trip! anyway, these are the 3 items we bought, and the giantic glucosamine capusles are for my mum.



loreal items are at 50% off and my sis got the loreal whitening toner at $3.45 and i got the maybelline aquasurge moisture lotion from the newly launched hydraboost series at $9.45. i like the lotion because it makes your skin very smooth when applied, n besides, it is the new range.


went to popular book fest after that and i got these 4 items. my sis bought like a trillion highlighters cause they were really cheap and those chinese game books that are selling for $1 each for her bf. we also got a chinese diy mask book for mum =)

i got these notebook that retails at $6.90 for $4.90. it will be my motivation to mug next sem!

it's my fourth night at SMU today, and hopefully i will continue this practice until my exams end. n i must say tt i'm really proud of myself bcos i now wake up at 9 every morning, went to SMU at 11, have my lessons and continue to study until 11.30 every night where i chiong to the bus stop to take the 190 bus home. n after that is a quick bath and watching the repeat telecast of channel u shows.

no life but dono y, i'm loving it now! =D

plus the fact that i have to submit my econs hw by 1530 tmr, my FA group project observations by tmr morning and my econs project by midnight tmr.

i think i will have to stay in school until 2300 tmr to finish all this stuff =(

and my skin is deteriorating like siao, pimples everywhere, n i mean EVERYWHERE!

ok, enough whining, back to work =(

And just when i thought that i have the opportunity to rest and finally have my 10 hours sleep (after 3 weeks of sleeping 5 hours everyday), something wrong will cock up.

Sometimes, i hate to be the one that people turn to when they need a solution. Heck, why can't i be just another normal 19 years old like anyone else? I should be clubbing, mahjonging or doing whatever crap others are doing.

Maybe i should be less dependent and reliable.

And i'm now learning consumer price index in econs now.
